Fraudulent Planning & Permit Emails Impersonating City Staff
The City is aware of fraudulent emails impersonating City staff and requesting payment or wire transfers for planning applications and permits. These emails are NOT from the City of Westlake. Scammers use public project info to target applicants, as noted in a recent FBI IC3 PSA: www.ic3.gov/PSA/2026/PSA260309.
The City's primary email domains are @cityofwestlake.org .
